Redding’s Waterworks Park is the perfect place for thrill seekers and those looking to cool off and make a splash over the summer.

Located within the city limits of Redding, California, Waterworks Park opened in the spring of 1995 and can be found a two and a half hour drive north of Sacramento.

The Dragon takes riders on a fast paced ride through 350 feet of enclosed aquatube in the complete darkness before shooting you out into the splash pool. It is great for those looking for a thrilling ride.

Then, take on The Cyclone. This enclosed flume ride sends riders down a heart-stopping five storey drop. When you emerge from the other side, take a spin around the 40 foot bowl and then splash down spinning into the awaiting pool. For those who need some company, The Cyclone allow for double riders.

The Awesome Avalanche offers the maximum thrill factor ad your experience free falling over four stories as either a single, double or even a triple rider.

Other water slides at Waterworks Park offer lower levels of excitement but are just as fun.
