1. 350-meter-long Connector
Sentosa Sensoryscape is just 350 metres long and will take you across from the northern shore of Sentosa to the beaches at the southern side of the island.
While it is just 350 metres or around 1,148 feet, which is less than one round around a running track, it does ascend up from Resorts World Sentosa and then descend down to the beaches. Therefore, there is a gentle incline but it isn’t too difficult, especially with all there is to see at the Sentosa Sensoryscape.
2. Sensory Gardens
Instead of simply walking across the Sentosa Sensoryscape, you are invited to slow down and explore the various sensory gardens that have been lined up along the way.
We are all familiar with the five senses of sight, sound, touch, taste and smell. The sensory gardens are based on the five senses. There is a garden that is devoted to each one of the the senses.
In order from Resorts World Sentosa to the beaches, the five sensory gardens are:
- Lookout Loop
- Tactile Trellis
- Scented Sphere
- Symphony Streams
- Palate Playground
A sixth garden, Glow Garden provides the last connection to the beaches of Sentosa.
3. Best Place to Get a View
The best place to take in the view while at Sentosa Sensoryscape is the Lookout Loop.
As the name implies, this offers a great view to lookout from the highest point of the Sentosa Sensoryscape. On one side, you will be able views of the northside, looking back towards mainland Singapore, while on the other side you can view out to the southern sea. On a clear day, you may even be able to spot the islands of Indonesia in the distance.
4. Enclosed Gardens
The sensory gardens at Sentosa Sensoryscape are framed by intricate diagrid structures. These feature a design inspired by a woven basket. Step into the enclosures and you will as if you have been whisked away into a special space where you can experience tranquility as you commune with nature through the senses.
5. Aromatherapy at the Scented Sphere
At the Scented Sphere sensory garden, you can indulge your sense of smell. One of the features of this particular sensory garden is the design that features a ring of overhanging giant armatures that contain scented plants. You can stand under these giant vessels and enjoy the aromatic fragrances of the plants.
6. Appreciate Local Flavors at Palate Playground
The Palate Playground sensory garden features aromatic herbs to exotic spices. These represent some of the local flavors that can be found in Singaporean foods and dishes. Stop by to appreciate what plants add to the flavors that many have come to love while dining out in Singapore.
7. Day to Night Experience: ImagiNite
Sentosa Sensoryscape is more than just a set of sensory gardens. At night, the magic happens with the ImagiNite experience. This is a multimedia experience that immerses visitors into a world where digital projections and nature combine.
The ImagiNite experience features a nature-inspired soundscape with interactive digital light art, digital floor projections and augmented reality.
ImagiNite is intended to unlock your sixth sense – the sense of imagination!
8. Light Beam Dance
Just in case you can’t find the Sentosa Sensoryscape in the evening, all you have to do is look upwards. The Lookout Loop will have a light beam dance that pierces high into the night sky like a beacon beckoning people towards Sentosa Sensoryscape.
9. Tactile Trellis: Light and Fire at Night
One of the stops that you should make when visiting Sentosa Sensoryscape during ImagiNite is Tactile Trellis. This is where you can view a creative account of how light and fire sparked the sense of imagination among our predecessors in the heart of the tropical forest.
10. Dance with Butterflies
Another experience not to be missed at Sentosa Sensoryscape’s ImagiNite can be found at the Scented Sphere. The sweet smell of the plants and flowers attract magical interactive butterflies at this sensory garden.
11. Sounds of the Ocean at Symphony Streams
At night, ImagiNite brings Symphony Streams to life, creating a surreal underwater realm and immerse yourself in an oceanic soundscape and virtual marine creatures.
12. Flora and Fauna at Palate Playground
For more interactive fun with virtual creatures, head over to the Palate Playground and be surrounded by virtual creatures that inhabit Sentosa. There is an interactive floor projection featuring flora and fauna found on the island’s ridges and reefs. It is also a way to learn about the ecological food web.

There are augmented reality experiences that can also be experienced at Sentosa Sensoryscape. To access these, you will need to download the ImagiNite app from either the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
14. Timing of ImagiNite
Sentosa Sensoryscape, the corridor between Resorts World Sentosa and the beaches is open 24 hours every day.
The ImagiNite night time experience will take place daily from 7.50 pm to 9.40 pm, starting from Thursday, 14 March 2024.
15. Hyperzoom
