The bagel restaurant has seven locations throughout Manhattan and a good selection of options available.

You can choose from varieties of bagels that include the classics like lox and cream cheese and there are also creative sandwiches available. They also offer vegetarian friendly, vegan and gluten free options that cater to those that need those.

NYC Hand-rolled Bagels

Bagels are freshly baked and hand-rolled and the smoked fish in the shop is hand-sliced.

The classic bagels at Zucker’s Bagels & Smoked Fish are traditional NYC hand-rolled, kettle-boiled bagels. The bagels are vegan and made from natural ingredients including unbromated, unbleached flours and a touch of malt for sweetness. These are baked in the shop daily.

Cream cheese is the classic choice to go with a bagel.

There is plain cream cheese ($4.75 on a sandwich) but you can also select from Scallion, Vegetable, Chipotle and Sun-dried Tomato with Roasted Garlic.

Feeling more adventurous? How about Lemon Blueberry cream cheese or Maple Raisin Walnut cream cheese?

The premium selection of cream cheese include Nova Scotia and Truffle.

Feel like having other spreads besides cream cheese? Zucker’s Bagels & Smoked Fish has got you covered with butter, grape or strawberry jelly, peanut butter, Nutella, hummus and avocado spread.

There are even plant-based spreads like plain tofu, scallion tofu and Stockeld Dreamery garlic & herb available.

If you don’t feel like having a bagel, or are just there to accompany some who does, you can choose a sandwich. Available, locally-baked breads include New York Rye, Artisan White, Swiss Health, Challah Roll and Whole Wheat Wrap.

The Classic is eggs on a bagel. This starts at $5.75 and you can choose any add ons you wish.

Pile on add ons such as Cheese ($1.50), Bacon Sausage or Ham ($2.25), Chicken Sausage or Sliced Turkey ($2.75) or Sliced Nova Salmon ($6.50) to customise your bagel sandwich.

Or choose one of the ready made combos like The Delancey (Eggs, Corned Beef or Pastrami, Breakfast Potato Latke, Sauteed Onions and Swiss, $10.25) or The Columbus (Egg Whites, Turkey Bacon, Avocado and Swiss Cheese, $10.95).

NYC Bagel

If you are there for the smoked fish, there are plenty of options available too. Eastern Nova Scotia Salmon, Gravlax, Belly Lox, Pastrami Salmon by David Burke, Scottish Salmon and Wild Sockeye Salmon are all on the Smoked Fish Sandwich menu.

Grilled cheese

Those who want non-fish options can choose from the Signature Sandwich menu with options that include Grilled Chicken, Roast Turkey and Smoked Turkey. Or you can customise your own grilled cheese.
